Balanghai does not confine its happiness but goes out to share it with people for what is a better proof of happiness than for it to overflow and reach other people. The girls who frequent the study center for formation, together with their friends, go out on a simple day to meet the less fortunate in some communities and visit the sick in their hospital bedrooms. Whether organized as big for a Christmas outreach project or in a small personal group, the girls come there to cheer up the sick through their songs and laughters. A pack of goodies and toys for the kids and warm inquiries and listening ears for the moms as they confidently pour out their hearts, are what the girls do to turn an ordinary day a special one for those being visited. Often, the girls realized that is they who receive more because they learn in the cheerfulness, hope and strength amidst difficulties of the people they visit. Every visit is an encounter, with others and with one's self making one realized that she can be helpful and grateful than she ever thought she can be. |
