To say sorry is one of the beautiful experiences in life no matter how hard it may seem. And what more to say sorry and know you will be forgiven. This is how simple yet profound the sacrament of confession is. Above all it is a sacrament of joy. Our experience of removing dirt or filth and seeing the cleansed object regain its original beauty sparks delight in us. And if it is the soul, infinite as it is, experience this cleansing, infinite joy accompanies it. Confession opens up the channels to which grace will flow.
In Balanghai, one approaches the sacrament of confession because of the thought of being forgiven and reconciled to God whom we love but have offended.
Regular schedule for confessionEvery Saturday 4:00-4:30, 5:30-7:00 pm | "Just as the gardener buries rotten fruit, dried twigs and fallen
leaves at the foot of the very trees which produced them. And so what
was useless, what was even harmful, can make a real contribution to a
new fruitfulness."
