Spiritual Direction is a conversation with a priest or with a lay person. As the term suggests, it aims to guide you in your efforts to be better, to make sure that you are heading the right way. It is to get one known so she can be helped. The general topics of this “conversation” are: the efforts that you put in becoming a better Christian, the virtues that you still need to work on, and how you relate to others. It is also a way to get to know hope and be encouraged because ‘sadness is an ally of the devil’ in the spiritual battle. As humans we need fatherly reproach and sisterly advise to help keep us on the track.
